Yes — the core experience is completely free. Discover places, save favorites, read reviews, and get recommendations without paying a thing. An optional Premium subscription removes ads and unlocks advanced features, and restaurants can offer in-app coupons and sponsored placements.
02 Do you need my location?
Only when you tap the “Near me” feature. Location is optional, used in the foreground only, and never tracked in the background. You can deny it and the app still works — you just won’t see distance-sorted results.
03 When will the app be available?
NearEat is available for free on Google Play right now. The iOS version on the Apple App Store is coming soon.
04 How does NearEat pick recommendations?
A multi-factor AI engine scores every fast food place by blending your personal preferences (25%), cuisine similarity (20%), distance (20%), local popularity (20%), and nearby promotions (15%). A small amount of exploration noise (~8%) is added so new places get a fair chance, and the more you browse, save, and rate, the smarter it gets.

Yes! Tap the share button on any fast food place or review to send a deep link. Your friends can open it directly in NearEat — or view it on the web if they haven't installed the app yet.

We're launching in Belgrade, Serbia with hundreds of fast food places already listed. More cities are on the roadmap — the app works anywhere with GPS, so you can still discover places even outside our primary coverage.
